Why Raising littles..

Hi, I'm Jade...

A fully qualified Level 6 Certified Sleep Consultant and parent coach with over 12 years experience working with children.

First and foremost, I am a mum of two boys aged 2 and 5 years. Becoming a mum has been everything I've ever dreamt of and more, but it hasn't come without it's challenges. My eldest son was a dream, 'sleeping through the night' by 3 months and being a relatively 'easy' baby. My youngest son however, suffered with Colic, Reflux and CMPA and did not sleep through the night until around 21 months old. He was a notorious early riser and our days often started at 4.30/5.00am, along with multiple wake-ups. After nearly two years, my mental health suffered and I began to struggle with anxiety. Even the easiest of  tasks felt difficult. Returning to work felt like torture, being unable to focus on a single task or have the energy and motivation to really feel present.

There came a turning point when enough was enough and that I had to get help.

This is where the inspiration and drive has come from to follow my passion and continue working with children and parent's in a way that I can make a difference.

With a background of over 12 years working in early years settings, experience working with SEN children, my role as a private Nanny, behavioural co-ordinator and paediatric first aid trainer, I made the decision to qualify as a Level 6 Paediatric sleep consultant.

But why work with me?

Well firstly, besides my experience and passion for the early years,  a Level 6 is the highest qualification within the sleep industry, and at degree level, why would I do anything less?

Secondly, I recognise the link between lack of sleep and mental health and well-being, which is why I have qualified as a beyond birth mental well-being practitioner, to ensure I can offer the best support possible to nurture the whole family's well-being.

And lastly, I've been there.

In the depth's of sleep deprivation, feeling like there's no way out. But I promise you, if I can improve my family's sleep, I can improve yours too. Please don't suffer alone.

My approach focuses on working holistically as I truly believe that to support a child's sleep or behaviour, you need to take the time to learn about the individual child. I am dedicated to providing information based on science-backed evidence and research so you can be confident and prepared for what to do next . My services are designed to support parents in understanding their child's sleep patterns and developing healthy sleep habits. I believe in the importance of mental well-being for the entire family and strive to create a supportive and nurturing experience for each family I work with.
